Boondoggle Beers is seeking investors in order to help bring our tasting room concept to life and to usher in the future

We are seeking 25 or so people to invest a small but meaningful amount to become members of our Investors club.

Investors club membership gets you:

A lifetime membership to our mug club
Your first beer of the day is free, every day, for life
Membership dues ($10,000) paid back with 5% interest within 5 years
You retain investor benefits even after funds are repaid
A voice in what we brew on our experimental system

Mug club membership will get you (cost $150/Year):

A 20oz or larger mug (filled at same cost as regular beers). Some exceptions will be made for very strong or very rare beers but you will always get more beer for the same price
An invitation to the annual members party
Discounted food (actual discount to be determined as we may not run the food ourselves, but likely either 10% or 20%)
Discounted merchandise
Exclusive offers
A voice in what we brew on our experimental system

Due to many (expensive) legal hurdles, we cannot sell securities and we cannot sign over any equity ownership without rigorous federal background checks as per current brewery ownership laws and SEC rules.

The Investors club will be an enhanced level of our mug club. In addition to the regular mug club perks, you will never have to renew mug club membership. More importantly, your first beer is on us. That’s right, you get your first beer for free, for life. (1 per day maximum) Yes, we like repeating this point.

The legal instrument we will use to manage this is a convertible note similar to those used by angel investors in tech firms. The difference is that our business will feed you beer as we grow and even after you are paid back. Our business is also based on tangible assets such as the many hundred kegs we own and brewing equipment which retain value even if the business or greater economy has financial troubles.

Your contributions will help us re-activate the long abandoned masonic temple at 245 Main Street in the heart of Old Wethersfield. Built in 1922 by the Hospitality lodge of the Scottish Rite, this old beauty was built to last. Unfortunately for both the Masons and the building, the Masons moved out in 1997 leaving the building empty for the first time. Several owners have attempted to convert the building into stunning residences, but nothing ever took. Those owners also entertained developers seeking approvals for assisted living facilities, condos, and apartments. After all these years, we hope to be the ones to revive this gem of a building.

Expect to see a comfortable space to meet friends or colleagues for a beer after work and grab a light bite of some casual grub. A large patio will come to life on the south facing lawn and performance/event space will dominate the upstairs. We hope to show you how to find your boondoggle.

02	Boondoggle is an existing, profitable, distribution focused business expanding into the higher margin direct sales segment. Boondoggle is currently sold in 400+ locations throughout Connecticut.

03	We have an option to purchase our property at a pre-agreed price. Our landlord has a vested interest in our success, and we will never be priced out of our home. This guarantees long term stability.

04	We will have a full bar which means if you have a friend or spouse who doesn’t drink beer, we will happily pour their preference. This will also allow us to weather industry changes by providing a more welcoming experience.

05	In our Wethersfield location the upper floor will host performances, yoga, music, TED Talks, table games, and other social programming.

When do we expect to close funding? The Investors Club will close when our doors first open.
